ground. observe. listen.

Everyone has the innate tools to heal, repair, and thrive. In times of stress and chaos, therapy can restore and sustain us. Balance our mental ecology. Discover our pockets of joy. Find closure. Shape our path.

Together, we can develop a process that honors you and your community. Your relationship with yourself and others is an unfolding process of discovery. As a therapist, I am committed to finding a path forward that works for you.

Creative Process Counseling

I specialize in working with artists and creatives of all ages to support mind-body health. Being an artist can bring a higher sensitivity to the world. We can explore how your creativity can be used to discover unique parts of self, sit with uncertainty, and cope with life’s challenges.

Ecological Therapy Approach

An ecological approach looks at how mental health and well-being are impacted by our social, community, and natural landscapes. What healing can we derive from our environment? How is anxiety and depression in dialogue with greater societal structures?

Identity & Adjustment

Adjusting to life’s changes can make us feel confused and uncertain, lost or alone. We can work together to unpack how transitions are impacting your life. I work with people around grief, loss, marriage, sexuality and gender identity, and new parenthood.

Healing-Informed Care

Oppression impacts our emotional health. Healing-informed care investigates how trans-generational and historical trauma affect your present reality. We will use your cultural and ancestral stories to shape your innate capacity to heal and cope.

“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.”

— Pema Chodron
